Payroll Tax Calc
Terms of Service
The terms governing your use of Payroll Tax Calc — estimates only, not tax advice, with limits on liability and acceptable use.
1. The service
Payroll Tax Calc ("the Service") provides paycheck and tax-withholding estimates for the United States. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Estimates only — not advice
All figures produced by the Service are estimates for planning purposes. They are not tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice, and they are not a substitute for your actual pay stub, employer payroll system, or a qualified professional.
Tax data reflects published 2026 federal and state schedules. Local tax coverage includes the jurisdictions listed in the calculator, some at labelled typical or estimated rates. Withholding outcomes vary with your complete personal situation, and actual amounts withheld by your employer may differ.
3. Accuracy and availability
We work to keep brackets, wage bases and rates current, and we review them at least annually. We do not warrant that the Service is error-free, complete, or available without interruption, and we may update or discontinue any part of it at any time.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at abusive volumes, misrepresent results as official tax determinations, or embed the widget in a way that deceives users about its source.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, its design, branding, and original content are the property of Atkins Media. You may share links to reports freely, and publishers may embed the calculator widget using the provided embed code with attribution intact.
6. Advertising
The Service displays advertising served by third parties such as Google AdSense. Ad content is provided by those networks, and your interaction with ads is governed by their policies and our Privacy Policy.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Atkins Media is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — including decisions made in reliance on its estimates. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the Service.
8. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page is the current one, and continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
